FAQs

How do the follow-up tests work?

Every 4 months, we check in with your body again to track progress, catch changes early, and create your new action plan. Follow-up tests can happen both at home or at one of our practices.

At-home tests: We’ll send you an easy-to-use test kit (with a blood sample from your finger) straight to your door. The kit comes with clear instructions and takes around 10 minutes. In some cases, like testing advanced markers, we’ll invite you to a partner lab nearby.

What we test: We test 20-30 key biomarkers that are selected based on your previous results, goals, and what makes sense to track regularly. It’s focused on areas like nutrient levels, inflammation, cholesterol, hormones, and metabolic health.

Behind the scenes: You may ask yourself: “But how does Aniva really decide what to test? Is it the same markers for everyone?” Here's how it works: We don’t waste your time or money by testing everything again. Instead, our health engine decides:

• What’s critical to monitor over time (e.g., Vitamin D, Omega 3, cholesterol)
• What changed in your last test
• What needs extra attention based on your lifestyle, symptoms, or supplements

Do I need to talk to a doctor to understand the report?

The action plan and biomarkers overview is designed for laypeople, and every marker comes with a personalised recommendation; we still include one consultation call after each test with a physician if you want deeper clinical context - it’s included in your membership and doesn’t cost extra.

How often should I retest?

Your membership includes regular follow-up testing every 4 months to monitor progress and update your action plan. Depending on goals and changes in your biomarkers, you can add more frequent or targeted re-tests when useful.
